Description
Reasonably good copy of this psych/prog classic from the Pretty Things. Those with long memories may recall that this was 'Rolling Stone’ magazine's album of the year in 1970. My photos make it look in better condition than it actually is, but this copy will give a few more years’ service yet. Matrix numbers are A2/B2.
Laminated gatefold sleeve – VG. Repaired label tear on front. Rubbing along bottom & along opening edge. The spine is intact. There is some tape on the inside of the gatefold which could be removed with care.
Labels – VG+. Quite a lot of spindlewear & a few age marks.
Harvest company inner bag – VG- (minus) Creasing & age marks. The plastic polyliner is missing.
Record – Visually VG- (minus). Lots of light hairlines but nothing serious.
Playback VG-(minus). Has obviously been well-played. There are patches of distortion at the beginning of Side 1 & towards the end of Side 2. There are no jumps or sticks. There is light crackle throughout & a few pops at the end.
I grade all records strictly using the 'Record Collector' system.
