Description

Pretty Things - Road Runner / Honey I Need b/w Big City / Mama, Keep Your Big Mouth Shut Original 1965 South Africa Tri-Center Fontana EP FEP 105.
Challenged condition copy, well the vinyl anyway...  Sleeve is Very Good, as the photo's will reveal.  Vinyl is host to an abundance of surface marks, hairlines & the occasional light scuff bordering on scratch.  These visual faults are readily evident when the disc is viewed directly under a high intensity halogen lamp. As a rule I would not generally offer a disc in this condition.  But, owing to the extraordinary rarity of this EP, and the very acceptable condition of the sleeve, this offer will prove to be an exception.  I've posted numerous pics of the vinyl from a variety of angles.  As can be seen there is reasonable gloss remaining.  The faults, such as they are, are the numerous scuffs & occasional light scratch.
The accompanying sound clip, dubbed from the EP of course, reveals the playback characteristic of this disc.  The most problematical track is Big City.  There IS a scratch on this, though as can be heard it plays through without skipping.  The other three tracks play well, albeit with a bit of light crackle at times.  So be it, it is what it is...  It's a bit noisy, but so were the Things!

Labels are VG, with the center prongs fully intact. This is the only copy of this I've ever seen, it's existence being little more than a rumour to me for thirty years.  So, despite the less than pristine condition  I suggest this would rate as a keeper copy, at least until a better  condition one comes around.  OK, start holding your breath...
This is scandalously rare, likely even more so than the Japanese Philips 45. Which, as hardly needs be said is pretty scarce as well...
All records are cleaned on a VPI 17, put in Japanese rice paper sleeves and placed in a protective sleeve.
Disc will be very well packed for shipping.  Insurance is mandatory but reasonably priced at .79 cents per USD $100.00 of value within the USA, $1.00 per $100.00 value rest of world.
Any questions just ask.
