Description
This is an original U.K. pressing on Columbia. Excellent copy with a nice high gloss and no oxidation. On first look it appears mint but in open daylight I looked it over carefully and found one fine line and some spindle lines on the label therefore VG+ to NrMt. The gatefold cover is nice with original clear coating and some shelf wear, no writing. It has been played on nice equipment a few times and stored from early seventies.

The matrix are hard to read but appear as: YAX 3738 -1 and. YAX 3739-1
The inner sleeve is original like new, no splits, wear, or writing. Just some small corner wrinkling from being folded when loaded into the jacket.
Most Important: I looked this record over again in different lighting. Side 1is excellent nice shine no marks grading nrmt-mt. Side 2 has some very faint early signs of oxidation two hairline scratches and several superficial marks that likely have no impact on play. Side 2 VG+- VG ++. I first looked this over in daylight. Because of the interest and realizing it's value I looked it over again under fluorescent light while finding the matrix numbers. It looks better than I describe but no one wants to be negatively surprised when buying a record.
I am original owner. Played a few times on an old DUAL turntable and stored. On Apr-21-15 at 11:00:09 PDT, seller added the following information:
Again, I was not aware of the scarcity of this record until I received multiple requests for the matrix numbers. I added more pictures mostly of side 2 because it is not mint and VG++ is somewhat in the eye of the beholder. I tried to get the imperfections or flaws to show as best I could. I consider myself conservatively fair in grading but no expert. The oxidation is faint and does not show easily. I only noticed it under fluorescent light. And, in my experience minor oxidation does not affect the sound; it is mostly a visual flaw. The record has never been cleaned and it is in a vinyl sleeve. The jacket/cover has also never been cleaned. The clear coating on the jacket is intact all around with no significant damage; there are a few areas that feel rough but have not worn to the paper. The paper used for the jacket is a bit thin and the record has imprinted it's shape in the jacket.
This was played a handful of times when I first bought it and then one last time around 1975 when I put much of my collection on cassette tape for posterity.
When this was originally purchased new records were never sealed. Stores in the UK put the empty jackets on display and they could be handled by anyone. The record and sleeve were kept elsewhere and brought to the customer at purchase.
