This is a TOP COPY! The cover, LP and Poster are all in Fantastic shape!
Up for sale is one(1) Prince - Controversy LP from 1981. ORIGINAL PRESSING LP on Warner Bros. Records (#BSK 3601).
STILL IN THE ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP with THE ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER and INCLUDES THE ORIGINAL FOLDOUT POSTER.
I recently played this LP and it sounds AWESOME!
The vinyl is in NEAR MINT condition with minimal wear from age.
Nice clean labels. The LP comes in the original Warner Bros. stock plastic inner sleeve.
The cover is still in the Original Shrink Wrap and is in NEAR MINT condition with minimal wear from age, including, but not limited to minor dings, and ring wear, etc... The original price sticker is still affixed to the cover. It may come off with some elbow grease, but I'm leaving it as-is. Also, there is a sticker removal residue spot just above the Hype Sticker that is difficult to see and does not detract from the cover or the shrink.
The Hype Sticker itself is in Very Good+ condition with typical wear from age.
The Original foldout poster is in Very Good+ condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to minor dings, creases and crumbles. Never hung or displayed. No pin holes or tape marks. There are the typical weak points / stress points where the poster is folded over where the panels meet. And there are a few stains of an unknown origin only on the rear of the poster.(see pics)
I obtained this LP in the early 1980s. It was gently played just a few times. I had another copy. This copy got The Kid Gloves Treatment.
