Description

Prince Hammer. World War Dub Part 1. Original 1979 Baby Mother label vinyl.
The vinyl shows signs of wear with some light marks. There are a few little nicks out of the edge of the vinyl that don't affect playback at all. I've tried to show these on a photo. Playback of the record is really good with a few tracks having the odd bit of noise, but on the whole it plays very well.
The outer cover looks pretty good really. There is wear to the three non-opening edges but no splits or tears. The opening side of the cover is good showing not much wear. The glue is starting to go a little bit on a short section of the bottom edge but on the whole the cover looks pretty nice considering the age.
The inner sleeve is original and has gone quite yellow with folds and creases. Also the inner sleeve has a few spine splits but nothing horrendous.
I have based my grading on the Discogs website and have copied the grading details below. I believe these descriptions accurately reflect the condition of the record and sleeve however if you win the auction and are not happy with the record I will be more than happy to discuss a resolution.
Vinyl condition: VG
"Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound"
Sleeve condition: VG
"Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time"
