THIS IS A VERY RARE GOLD STAMPED PROMO COPY with the HYPE STICKER AFFIXED DIRECTLY TO THE COVER AND INCLUDES THE CUSTOM INNER LYRIC SLEEVE.
There is a small tear in the body of the Hype Sticker as if someone tried to peel it off, and it tore, then stopped and pressed that portion back in place. It is complete, but torn.
Up for sale is one(1) Prince - Self Titled Debut LP from 1979 LP on Warner Bros. Records (#BSK 3366). This is an ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING with the original credits on the rear cover. The credits were changed for the repress.
The vinyl is in Very Good condition, but has some minor visual surface marks that will cause surface noise typical with a Very Good grading. Even with a Very Good grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise, certainly more noticeable during the quiet parts.
PLAY TESTED! I recently played this LP and it sounds AWESOME!
Nice clean labels with some spindle marks.
The cover is in Very Good condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, crumples, creases, dings, and ring wear all of which are typical. There is a small sticker removal residue spot in the upper right corner of the front cover that partially bleeds on the right side of the Hype Sticker. The hype sticker is affixed directly to the cover!
The custom inner lyric sleeve is in Very Good condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, crumples, dings, and ring wear all of which are typical. There is a small sized split seam on one side and a very small split seam on the other side.
The LP is now being housed in a plain white inner sleeve.
