Description
THIS IS AN OFFICIAL PRODUCT - There are many bootlegs, fakes, copies of this album in fact well over 50 variations, however this is the original 1994 Limited Edition Issue from WB.
Product/Provenance
"The Black Album" is the 16th full-length studio album by Prince. Officially, it has no title and no credited artist. It's known as "The Black Album" due to its plain black sleeve, which contains no information apart from the catalogue number printed on the spine in peach letters. The sticker on the 1994 release labeled it "The legendary Black Album".
It was originally intended to be released on 8 December 1987, but was cancelled at Prince's request just prior to release (on 1 December 1987). It was finally given a limited official release in November 1994 (just three months after his previous new release Come).

Condition (See Photos)
Sleeve - N Mint.
Inner Sleeve - N Mint,
Record - Mint, both sides. The vinyl is in splendid condition, a real treat under natural light. Absolutely no sign of play.
Labels - Mint, both sides. It’s interesting because any black record label can tell you a story about the records use as the colour prominently shows any needle use, this example is blemish free, no sign of any scratch, split rip or tear.
This is a fine example, containing both the original sleeve with the WB logo embossed on the back with the peach writing on the spine, and the original plain black inner sleeve is also present. The vinyl is immaculate as are the labels.
As always I encourage you to review other vendors to compare condition & price.
