JOHN LENNON - 'IMAGINE' 1971 UK 1st PRESSING LP Poster & Card.

This exceptional UK 1st anywhere pressing dates from the album's release in October 1971. LP is on a custom Apple label: PAS 10004. All the elements of the day of its release are included, and the condition of the lp, the sleeve, the inner, the postcard and the poster are as they left the factory!.

With a fully laminated, early cover 'Printed in England' with a square spine with factory 'pinched' ends.

Pristine & present is the 33" x 22" poster of John at his white grand piano taken by Peter Fordham & postcard of John and pig.

The disc itself is housed a printed inner-sleeve showing the lyrics on one side and album personnel on the other. No splits or marks to this.

Matrix numbers: YEX 865-1U & YEX 866-1U

Stamper codes: RA 11 & RMR

'PORKY' & 'PECKO' are inscribed into the side 1 & 2 run-outs respectively. 

Reasonable start given the rarity of this as a 1st issue in beautiful condition.
