This is a RECORD CLEANING SERVICE, NOT A KIT. Please read the ENTIRE listing before buying.
This is for the cleaning of FIVE Vinyl Records using the FULL STEAM CLEANING PLUS MY 10 STEP Process described below. You send me the records and I will clean them as described below. Buy the quantity you would like to have cleaned. It will remove ALL the dirt, grime, and pollutants inside your record grooves. It will dramatically IMPROVE the sound of your vinyl. My work is guaranteed and my shipping is insured. I have been cleaning vinyl for the last 10 years trying to PERFECT my system to improve the sound quality and reduce background noise. It can be a single record or a double record.
What I do:
Step 1-Use a pre-cleaner to remove the largest particles and get the record base ready for a steam cleaning.
Step 2-Vacuum the record, both sides, using my VPI 17 Cleaning machine.
Step 3-Use Steam from Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs PURE Water to clean the vinyl grooves-3 rotations each side. Use DAK Brush to get steam into the grooves.
Step 4-Vacuum the record again, both sides-4-5 rotations until BONE DRY!
Step 5-Use MFSL Deep Enzyme Cleaner to enzyme clean the grooves. I use a VPI Medium brush to get the cleaner in the grooves. Let it sit on each side for 1-2 minutes depending on dirt level of record.
Step 6-Vacuum the record again, each side 3-4 rotations.
Step 7-Use MFSL Super Deep Cleaner to clean both sides using MFSL velvet brush. 3-5 rotations after soaked.
Step 8-Vacuum record again using VPI 17, 3-4 rotations.
Step 9-Use Disc Doctor Miracle Fluid to coat grooves. This is a Cleaner/Lubricant that coats the vinyl and "polishes" the grooves to really improve sound quality.
Step 10-Vacuum the record again, 3-5 rotations, both sides
Step 11-Using MFSL Pure Water, rinse record using a different MFSL Velvet brush and let it spin for 3-5 rotations.
Step 12-FINALLY vacuum the record a final time, both sides until bone dry...
After being vacuumed 6 times and hit with 5 different washes, your record is completely clean. It should now have improved DYNAMICS, FIDELITY, STAGING and be MUCH QUIETER in the background. The only thing it won't remove are scratches or groove wear. In my experience, the dirt is what causes most of the problems with vinyl. A scratch can be tracked without noise in most cases.
I have a huge vinyl store store online, just look at my other auctions. I specialize in 1st pressings and "Audiophile" pressings or the best sounding versions of records. Most of my business is from repeat buyers because once they hear what CLEAN VINYL sounds like, they don't buy it without being cleaned.
I ship using USPS Media Mail insured and tracked. If International, I use First Class International shipping through the USPS. It is also insured and tracked. Turn around time is one week from receiving the records at my business. They will shipped back out to you within 7 days of receiving them.
