Description
Classic acid folk sounds from 1971 . There are 3 tracks:
Side 1 Diana (4.28)
In the Lost Queen’s Eyes (2.48)
Side 2 Winter is a Coloured Bird (7.00)
The line-up was as follows:
· Roger Wootton - acoustic guitar, lead vocals
· Glenn Goring - 6-12 acoustic guitar, electric guitar, slide, hand drums, vocals
· Andy Hellaby - fender bass, slide bass, vocals
· Colin Pearson - violin, viola
· Rob Young - flute, oboe, hand drums
· Bobbie Watson - vocals, percussion
The record plays really well (All my records are played on a Project Debut turntable) but does have a few visible markings. These are not all noticeable during playing. I would still have to grade it as ‘very good ++’ because of the markings.
The cover has slightly discolored and faded over the last 37 years. I would grade it as ‘excellent –‘.
The majestic progressive rock is wonderfully evocative of the era.

My records are graded in accordance with Record Collector's Grading System as follows: MINT(M)The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any other items are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc + or - indicates a grading in between categories
