Description
Full-length LP from Niemen titled "Mourner's Rhapsody" released by CBS (S 80557) in 1975. Original U.K. pressing. Poland's talented keyboardist/singer Czeslaw Niemen recorded this album in New York with a slew of jazz-rock musicians that included Rick Laird on bass, Jan Hammer on drums, Michal Urbaniak on electric violin, Steve Khan on guitar and John Abercrombie on guitar among others in various combinations. A blend of progressive rock, jazz-fusion, experimental jams featuring Niemen's soulful/expressive vocals and some spacey moments.
