Description
This is an extremely rare album in the Decca SXL 2000 series and, as the photo shows, is an original WBg pressing. It features Ernest Ansermet conducting L’Orchestre de la Suisse Romande.

At the time, the recordings were made using what Decca described as ‘Full Frequency Stereophonic Sound’ and have a marvelously full, rich sound.
The cover has some small creases on the front but virtually none on the back. It has discoloured very slightly on the right hand edge of the front cover. I would grade it as being in excellent condition.
The record is in its original FFSS sleeve and I would grade it as being in excellent – condition. There are one or two small, light hairline marks on side 1 but these are inaudible when played. Side 2 has an extremely light hairline mark that goes across the record. It is difficult to see and is inaudible when played. (My records are played using a Project Debut turntable).

My records are graded in accordance with Record Collector's Grading System as follows: MINT(M)The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any other items are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc + or - indicates a grading in between categories
