Description
Public Image Limited METAL BOX -Metal can has the usual tarnishing. -Records have scuffing that runs parallel to the groove present in varying degrees on every side. -The scuffing does not affect the audio which is clear throughout except for typical vinyl noise between tracks. No ticks. -I believe the cause of the scuffing (I'm not the original owner!) is from the cartridge body bearing down on the vinyl surface. The records were cut with a lot of extra bass and a low quality cartridge/needle will jump out of the groove if not enough weight is applied. I speculate that a couple of pennies might have been placed on the head shell causing the cartridge underbelly to rub against the vinyl.
