Artist: Public Image Limited (PIL)
Title: Metal Box
Label: Virgin
Condition (Vinyl/Sleeve): VG+/G+
Notes: Infamous original British metal box pressing on Virgin records. Metal tin has some discoloration and is slightly dented, I would rate it a 6 out of 10. The tin is notorious for discoloration, and this one is no exception, but the inside is perfectly clean. All three records grade VG+, with no scratches, but some light surface wear that does not affect sound. Listening to the record right now on my turntable, and the sound is very good, with minimal background noise. Includes paper insert with liner notes, and all 4 circular paper discs, which protect the vinyl.
The pictures are of the ACTUAL item. No stock photos were harmed in the creation of this auction.
Grading Scale:
Near Mint (NM)… A perfect record with clean gloss and no marks. Beautiful in every way. Very few records will ever make this grade.
Near Mint- (NM-)…Very clean with only a few light marks. A great record.
Excellent (EX)…Still very clean, but slightly more light marks. No scratches and no surface noise.
VG+…Used, but not abused. Light surface scratches only. Should play and look very nice with minimal surface noise.
VG…Still a nice record. Looks a bit used with light scratches but no gouges. Still plays well, but with some surface noise.
VG-…A bit rough but will play ok. Fills the collection.
G…Plays very rough and has multiple scratches. Only very rare records will be auctioned in this condition.
The buyer will pay all shipping costs, which include postage costs, $0.80 for Delivery Confirmation, plus $1.20 for LP mailer. Please contact me if you would like to add shipping insurance (extra fee). I will combine shipping rates for multiple purchases. I cannot be held responsible for damage incurred during shipping. All records are mailed in sturdy, professional grade record mailers, with cardboard inserts for added protection. Please note: Tracking service is not available outside of the US.
