Description
Year of Release: 1979
Label: Virgin Records
First UK pressing with A1/B1/C1/D1/E1/F1 matrixes and the original paper track list insert plus the original (4) paper dividers. The vinyl is in fantastic NEAR MINT condition, having only been played ONCE since new. The tin has light oxidization and light rust. The tin was made to oxidize, rust then disintegrate - but this hasn't happened here as I've kept it dry and away from light since purchasing it. It also has the original (METAL 1) sticker on the bottom of the canister.

12 tracks on three separate 12" records – playing at 45 rpm – housed in a limited edition metal canister.
Note: 'Metal Box' was re-issued with exactly the same tracks in 1980 as 'Second Edition' in a standard cardboard sleeve.
