This is the rare box set 'Metal Box' by Public Image Ltd. This was the band's second album and it was released as a three record 12 inch 45rpm set housed in a metal film canister.
I bought it when it was released in 1979 and it's sat on my record shelf ever since. I played it a few times in the early days, but it hasn't been played for years. The set is complete with the red text flyer, the white paper separators, three records and the metal tin.
The records are in Very Good+ condition.
The labels are also in marvellous condition. The white is bright and the black and red are just the same as the day they were printed. The white has no discolouration and they have no spindle wear. The white separators are very clean and bright with firm edges and no discolouration. The flyer has a little corner wear but is still fresh and clean.
The metal tin is in Good condition. There is one dent and some tarnishing that has come with age and a couple of small marks but it is still bright and still has its solid original shape.
