Description

This is the very scarce 'doubleback' LP by legendary psychedelic/progressive/synth band TANGERINE DREAM 'ALPHA CENTAURI' and 'ATEM' on the VIRGIN label, cat# VD2504. It is recorded in SQ QUADRAPHONIC and is the ONLY release of this material (or indeed ANY Tangerine Dream) in quadraphonic - and it sounds just stunning! It does of course sound pretty brilliant in stereo, but if you have an SQ decoder/amp, then you are in for a real treat( 2 ears good - 4 ears better!). Incidentally, I am told that SQ decodes via Dolby surroundsound - but I have never tried this for myself so I can't 100% guarantee that.

The double album is in Mint condition throughout - G/F cover, labels and vinyls.

ALPHA CENTUARI:

SIDE ONE: SUNRISE IN THE THIRD SYSTEM; FLY AND COLLISION OF COMAS SOLA

SIDE TWO: ALPHA CENTAURI

ATEM:

SIDE ONE: ATEM

SIDE TWO: FAUNI-GENA; CICULATION OF EVENTS; WAHN

OVERSEAS SHIPPING: EUROPE = £5.00   USA AND THE REST OF THE WORLD = £8.00.
