Description

  JETHRO TULL "AQUALUNG" VINYL LP

VERY-RARE QUADRADISC 4-CHANNEL VINYL LP w/ DIFFERENT MIXES !!!

The 1973 original issue uses a then, specially designed SQ decoder permiting the a sound separation (as opposed to the regular 2 channel) when playback is through the quad system or even surround sound receiver, resulting in completely different song mixes that can be detected even on the 'normal' stereo system. The record company changed around the song mixes (sounding like things were added) to enhance the quadraphonic 4-channel listening experience....

CHRYSALIS RECORDS (CH4-1044)
GATEFOLD SLEEVE (marked 1974 on spine)
PRINTED IN USA

TRACKS:
AQUALUNG / CROSS EYED MARY / CHEAP DAY RETURN / MOTHER GOOSE / WOND'RING ALOUD / UP TO ME / MY GOD / HYMN 43 / SLIPSTREAM / LOCOMOTIVE BREATH / WIND-UP VINYL: NEAR-MINT CONDITION
the vinyl is extremely clean and shiny
under a hard light i only see one small, extremely light hairline scratch (so faint you can barely see it)
the record plays quietly - the sound is very punchy and crisp ! The guitar just POPS out front on this lp !
there are some spots on the lp where i've hear a "pop" or some light clicks/crackle - overall, it sounds amazing !
GATEFOLD SLEEVE: GREAT CLEAN CONDITION
the front is clean w/ some very-light rubwear near the spine / the back has light ringwear
spines are all staight and clean w/ no splits / inside gatefold is extremely clean
fuzzy bottom spine corner I'M LISTENING TO IT RIGHT NOW, AND IT SOUNDS SO GREAT !!!  SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY - DO NOT BID IF YOU CAN'T PAY
