The cost for shipping inside the US will be $4.00 per package.  Therefore, if you buy one album, 2 albums, 10 albums or 20 albums, the shipping is $4.00.  I can fit up to about 25 single LP albums into my larger shipping box.

Given the holidays coming up that land on Sunday this year, I am listing all of my items to start and to finish on Monday instead.  Beginning with January 8, 2012, I will be back on a Sunday schedule.

This item is a beautiful, original vinyl LP pressing of the classic Queen LP entitled A Day At the Races, released by Elektra Records in the US back in 1976.  The follow up to their ground-breaking 1975 album A Night At The Opera, this album features a number of tracks that follow a somewhat similar formula:  Somebody To Love is the follow-up to Bohemian Rhapsody, Tie Your Mother Down opens the album in the same way Death on Two Legs opens Opera, and so on.  But the band has a few additional tricks up their collective sleeves, including You and I (a wonderful slice of power pop) and Teo Torriate (let Us Cling Together), featuring Japanese lyrics and referred to in the track Let Me Entertain You from the Jazz album (“Just take a look at the menu / We give you rock a la carte / Well breakfast at Tiffany’s / We’ll sing to you in Japanese / Were only here to entertain you”).  This is also an original pressing of the album featuring the butterfly record label and inner sleeve, and it does not have a barcode on the cover.  This is a terrific album, made even better by the fact that it is still in its original plastic and has the original track-listing promo sticker as shown.  You will not find a nicer pressing of this album unless you find it still-sealed.   

Both the vinyl and the gatefold cover are in solid near-mint condition, as shown in the photo.                                                                                                                                                               

NOTE TO ALL BUYERS OUTSIDE OF THE US:  Pursuant to Paypal Seller Protection Policy sections 11.3 and 11.4, EVERY item paid for by Paypal MUST be sent via PRIORITY INTERNATIONAL MAIL.  PLEASE NOTE THAT BIDDING ON THIS ITEM IS ACCEPTANCE OF THIS REQUIREMENT.  The fact that other sellers may send items by First Class International -- and put themselves at risk for claims -- is immaterial.  In addition, the USPS just increased their rates.  To Canada, the cost for 1 single LP is $22.75USD.  To Europe, the cost for 1 single LP is $30.75USD.  Multi-album LP sets cost more, so if you have any question at all about postage, please e-mail me before the auction ends (but please give me enough time to respond).  Other countries will be about the same as to Europe.  Combining multiple albums saves money, and I can send you the shipping costs upon request BEFORE YOU BID.  I recognize that this results in very high shipping costs, but it is of no benefit to me because the money is paid to the USPS for postage.  If you think this policy is unfair, contact Paypal -- I'm only following their rules.  If you have any questions about my shipping policy or costs, please send me an e-mail via My eBay.

I am not a dealer, and all of the items I place up for auction are from my personal collection gathered over the past forty-plus years.  I am selling my collection little by little to pay for college expenses for my two kids, in my spare time. 

Shipping within the US is $4.00 per package, via media mail, regardless of the number of records up to 25.  If you want Priority shipping within the U.S., the cost is a function of weight and postal zone, and I will e-mail an invoice indicating the cost of priority (I can also provide this info while the auction is pending, if you e-mail me your zip code and the number of LPs). 

Insurance through the USPS is available, and once again my invoice will provide the cost information.  

NOTE:  Sealed items are collectible because they are sealed.  Since I do not own a store, I cannot return items to the manufacturer.  Once opened, I cannot refund the purchase price in full because opening significantly affects its value. 

NOTE: Media mail does not have tracking.  The USPS offers delivery confirmation with online tracking.  If you want online tracking with delivery confirmation,  ability, you must purchase delivery confirmation for $0.75.  

International Buyers – Please Note:
