Description
Queen : A Ladder To The Stars : The Classic BBC Recordings 1974 - 1977
This rare bootleg features tracks recorded at the BBC on two separate occasions in 1974. Pressed on white vinyl it is an interesting listen and 'It's Late' features a 'Get Down Make Love' musical interlude!
The audio on Side One is Ex+
The audio on Side Two is Ex-
The cover is Mint
The labels are MintVisual grading
Side One is visually in superb condition with no hairlines or marking and appears unplayed. Side Two is also very clean but does have a couple of scuff type marks on tracks 2 & 3 but has little affect on the audio.
Play grading
For a bootleg Side One plays very well with very little interference. There is just a touch of static here and there. Side Two has a little more crackle and there is one pop during 'Spread Your Wings' and a couple on 'We Will Rock You (Slow)'. Nevertheless it is a rare bootleg and very interesting to hear them in their early days playing tracks rarely played live. The legend 'Whispering' Bob Harris introduces all the tracks also!
Cover
The glossy cover is in superb condition and is 100% Mint. Never seen better.
The labels
The white labels are in superb shape with no spindle wear or markings.
