Description
This rare bootleg is in excellent condition and features very rare versions of tracks recorded for BBC Radio One in 1974 and 1977. You really have to hear 'It's Late' to believe it! Towards the end they 'insert' a three minute version of 'Get Down Make Love' which isn't even mentioned on the tracklisting.
Being an unofficial release I won't say the audio is Mint and unplayed as so many sellers do. I have play tested the LP and overall the audio is excellent but as I say it is a bootleg so don't expect perfection! In the main many tracks play very clearly and almost as MInt ie how they were first heard on the radio. Side One plays with excellent audio with little in the way of background noise and whilst Side Two plays very well with no skips or jumps it does have a few clicks here and there but not to the detriment of the sound in my opinion.
This is an LP to own more for its rarity value with tracks recorded live for radio and then pressed on vinyl. Even whispering Bob Harris makes an appearance!
The cover is in wonderful condition with only very minor shelf wear. Overall it has very clean edges. There are just a couple of small creases on the reverse by the spine. The opening edge is very clean with only mild handling wear.
Play tested on my Technics SL-J110R turntable system
