Queen : A Night At The Opera A1/B1 30th Anniversary Edition 2005 with Outer Envelope

This anniversary edition LP is in superb condition and has only been played once in order to play grade it.  The playback is superb and the clarity and depth of the audio could not be any better.

Pressed on heavyweight vinyl it is visually stunning and the embossed gatefold is also in beautiful condition along with the picture inner.  The outer envelope has only minor wear on the corners.

Please wait for the invoice before making payment thank you.

The audio on S1 is Mint-

The audio on S2 is Mint-

The gatefold is Mint

The outer envelope is Ex

The picture inner is Mint

The labels are Mint

As you would expect the vinyl is in pristine condition with no marks, hairlines or scratches and there is obviously no spindle wear.  It is 'as new' I can safely say.  It also has an immaculate glossy sheen and the run out grooves and labels are also in superb condition.  When you play S1 there is a very gentle 'lift' on one section but is not a warp.  It is only minor and cannot be seen when you play S2.

Play grading

There is no need to individually grade each track as the vinyl, prior to my playtesting, has never been played before.  Suffice to say every track plays with exceptional clarity and definition and there is no interference to be heard.  On this super heavyweight 1/2 speed mastered vinyl what really stands out is the overall 'sound' of the audio.  There is somehow a greater depth to the audio compared to the standard pressings and each note can be heard with stunning precision.  Even on an unplayed vinyl there can often be some 'background' and especially at the start of each side but the piano intro on 'Death On Two Legs' is perfect and the long quiet intro on 'The Prophet's Song' has only a couple of light static ticks.  Again the acoustic end section on this classic track and the intro on 'Love Of My Life' play with breathtaking quality.  There is just no 'background' of any kind and I am delighted to say 'Bohemian Rhapsody' plays to a sublime standard from start to finish.  It has no interference, not even a dust tick, and the sonic quality is just unbelievable!  It plays with stunning Mint quality audio, there is nothing to fault.  There is complete silence in the dead wax between every track which gives you a good idea of the clarity on offer and any audiophile would be extremely impressed with the audio quality.  A stunning album.

The Gatefold & Outer Envelope

The embossed cover is pristine and has perhaps never seen the light of day if ever!  It is beautifully 'white' and no marking or wear at all and I have never seen better.

The 'envelope' is also very clean but as per usual does have a little corner wear but certainly nothing major.  One of the flipbacks on the reverse does have a tiny tear on edge but aside from that it is in excellent shape.

The Picture Inner

As you would expect the glossy inner is in immaculate condition with no side splits or marking.

The Labels

They are both in pristine condition with no marking or spindle wear as stated.
