Description
QUEEN ~ A Night At The Opera EMI EMTC 103, released 1975 . Original 1st UK press complete with original card inner with 3 cut corners, “Blairs” etched on both sides of the LP.
A nice original 1st press copy, with generally only mild wear.
Gradings: -
The outer gatefold sleeve is in EX condition and shows little signs of wear overall. The top and bottom edges are in nice shape, and the spine is fully intact and in beautiful condition. There is some light staining visible on the white areas of the sleeve mainly on the front in the lower half, but a small amount on the rear also. This is not overly visible and does not detract greatly, but is visible and hence why the cover isn’t graded an NM, as apart from this the sleeve is in great condition.
Vinyl: EX+
The Vinyl is in EX+ condition. This is beautiful example of this LP, there are no significant marks or defects, and any wear or feint hairlines are almost impossible to see when the LP is viewed under bright halogen light. The record fully retains its original deep black shine and overall this is a superb condition example. Almost graded as NM. Super.

The labels are in EX condition generally clean with no major marks or defects.
Inner Sleeve: (generic) EX.
Original card inner with 3 corner cuts as only found on 1st pressings. The inner is unsplit with just minor signs of wear.
Postage and Packing:
All records are placed in a separate poly lined inner and stored flat outside the sleeve and then placed sealed in a re-sealable polythene outer prior to shipping. Records are then placed between square cardboard sheets before packaging into cruciform mailers especially designed for LP’s. These mailers are a high-grade type which reinforce the edges around the LP and as such they are larger and weigh more than standard mailers. My postage costs reflect the additional size and weight of the packaging that I use.
