QUEEN A NIGHT AT THE OPERA
Issue : UK ORIGINAL PRESS Label : EMI RECORDS Catalogue No : EMTC 103
Matrix : YAX 5063-4 BLAIRS / 5064-4 BLAIRS
This original press is on the custom EMI label. It is complete with the very early YAX 5063-4 / 5064-4 matrix with Blair's handetched in the runout. It has the earliest 3 die-cut corner lyric printed inner sleeve and light sheen embossed gatefold sleeve.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition. It has a sensational gloss, there is no whitening or signs of heavy play at all. There are just a couple of tiny wispy marks. The label is extremely clean. The colour is solid and unworn, the text is sharp and there is no spindle wear, just a couple of very faint spider marks. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and from the moment it begins it is exceptionally rich and vibrant.
The lyric inner sleeve is in superb shape. It is extremely clean and solid. The colours are exceptionally bright, the black is bold and the text is sharp and the edges are firm.
The embossed sleeve is in Excellent condition. The cover image is still superb, very clear and sharp. The text is unworn and the colours are vivid. There is just the slightest discolouration. The back and inside are also superb, bright and clean. The whole sleeve has it original light sheen and is still extremely solid. The spine is extremely firm with clear text.
