SIDE A

INITIAL THOUGHTS: Generally looks good, no major marks like deep scratches. Doesn't appear over played. Looks decent with a few fine makers here and there, nothing serious and I will be play testing it and writing about it below. Grades as very good plus

FINE SUPERFICIAL MARKS: yes but not a crazy amount

MODERATE FINE SRATCHES: There are a couple of short ones fine like a hair and not deep at all,  no deep scratches or cuing marks.

HEAVY SCRATCHES: Nope, none

GRADES

A = Very good plus

SIDE B

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

Looks good at first glance. Mostly clean surface. There are more marks on this side. Some are sleeve marks, perhaps cleaning makes too. It doesn't look worn out, just like its had a couple of minor incidents. Leaving a collection of light wavy lines 3/4 their way over the side. There's a couple fine scratched on the last track which I will investigate. Looks very playable with no serious injuries. Grades as very good minus

FINE SUPERFICIAL MARKS:Yes, some loosely collected together as if caused when removing from the sleeve. There are other fines marks dotted about.

MODERATE FINE SRATCHES:There are a couple of short more pronounced marks, but no deep scratches

HEAVY SCRATCHES:Nope, none

GRADES

B = VERY GOOD minus

AUDIO GRADES

I've played both sides through a couple of times without any issues arising. The recording quality is fantastic, it is a very loud record. I was listening through headphones and it was a treat. The bass in parts was ear blowing. The sound quality has stood up to the test of time. At no point did a track sound over played and the top notes, mids, and bottom end all sound clear and full without any hint of breaking up into a distorted mess. I didn't hear any repeating ticks, and at no point did the stylus skip grooves or get stuck. There was some back ground crackle that can be heard , you guessed it, in quieter parts. Some of it will be dust and some from fine marks. At no point were any hard scratches heard. Bohemian Rhapsody sounded excellent, full and loud and punchy. With light crackle in parts too. All and it I was really pleased with this play back session and the audio on this album. I am grading excellent for side one  and very good for side two, so an average of very good plus over all.

Final thoughts

 A nice package with early credentials. Not a final upgrade, but still a strong copy with terrific audio, just not cd quality. A decent playing copy
