Queen
“Who Wants To Live Forever” 12" Demonstration Single with Double Sided Sleeve Unique to New Zealand (cat# GOOD142)
Very rare Demonstration (promo) copy (see B-side label). After Queen's successful first live show in NZ in 1985 and the hugely popular Kind of Magic LP, EMI-NZ chose not to press Killer Queen as the B-side (like the UK release) but instead "Don't lose your head" (thought better to offer the tracks from the new KofM LP).
For this reason they did not use the rear sleeve template from the UK release but instead printed the front cover photo on the rear cover i.e same picture both sides ! This was somehow considered to be a better option than editing the UK rear sleeve with the changed track??? Or maybe a last minute change and rushed release????
These rarely turn up and is by far the rarest 12" NZ single release from Queen. Note the funny and different catalogue number: GOOD142 !
+BONUS
12" One Vision - NZ Picture sleeve with red inner sleeve (GOOD91) Condition: EX/EX
Condition (visual grade):
DISC: EX
SLEEVE: VG+ (Repaired split on top seam- see pic #4 -+ small mark on top right corner - see pic#5)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I use the UK Record Collector grading system. I grade conservatively to avoid disappointment. I don't use the grading MINT! I rarely ever use the grading Near mint (maybe only for sealed vinyl or unplayed /new discs). My EX+ is often another's NM!
For a detailed description of the UK Record Collector gradings see: http://reviews.ebay.co.uk/VINYL-RECORD-GRADING-GUIDE?ugid=10000000001916909
1. I always remove the disc from the sleeve when packing.
2. I use recycled packaging.
3. Please make payment within 3 working days.
Postage:
UK/ EU/North America/Japan:
£11 Standard airmail (7-10 working days) + £3 for any additonal LP's.
This is effectively 1st class airmail and does not provide any sort of tracking service. Insurance for loss or damage is included but claims for loss or damage can only be made through NZ Post. Therefore if the above happens it will require your co-operation as NZ Post investigates such claims and does not compensate lightly without doing there homework. You agree not to claim via Paypal until NZ post have finished and concluded their investigation should this arise.
**If you would like a tracked courier service please ask me to get a quote for you!
South American/Italian/ Russian Federation/China :
Please be prepared for long delays of up to 1-2 months for your item. This is to do with the postal service at your end not mine. I have had difficulties with clients in the above areas asking where there item is after 2 weeks. Well it is usually sitting in a depot/warehouse in your country until customs or some bureaucrat processes it. I don’t mean to cause any offence but please understand the only way around this is for you to pay for a courier service which has tracking details and is fast 4-6days. This is expensive (from £22-30) so please ask me if you want this.
Russian Federation: Unfortunately the only service available to Russian Federation clients is standard/1st class airmail- the Russian postal system will not allow for non business-business items to be couriered i.e. they will only deliver to a commercial business address.
Any questions ? Please drop me an email ;)
