Greatest Hits III (Limited Edition No 06712)

This increasingly rare double vinyl LP is in immaculate condition.  The previous owner told me that it had never been played and judging by the complete lack of spindle wear and 'new' glossy sheen like quality of the vinyls I have no reason to doubt him.

It was released as a limited edition in 1999 and is numbered 06712.  It has the PVC sleeve with the Queen name and crest embossed on the front with Brian, Roger and John included also.

Visual grading

They are both absolutely pristine and visually stunning.  They have that immaculate glossy sheen of new vinyl which isn't surprising when you consider they haven't been played.  There is no spindle wear, hairlines or scratches whatsoever and quite simply they look as new.  They both still had white flecks on them from the inside of the inners proving they had never been played prior to my play testing.

Play grading

I can confirm that both vinyls play with immaculate audio.  Side One has no lead in static and 'The Show Must Go On' then plays with a quality that is second to none, absolutely stunning.  There is complete silence between tracks and the clarity and depth on offer is incredible.  'Too Much Love Will Kill You' in particular is sublime and plays with Mint audio.

There is no need to grade each track/side as they all play with the same impeccable standard.  This is why music should be heard on vinyl!  All tracks play as new with no interference which is incredibly rare to find today.  What I find particularly impressive with this pressing is the richness and warmth of the sound and the bass comes through superbly.  You can certainly tell they have never been played before...prior to my play testing that is!  I very rarely grade as Mint but as my feedback testifies I grade honestly and correctly so I am confident in grading it as such.

Cover

The limited edition cover is practically Mint such a rarity for this LP.  The edges and spine are in superlative condition and there are only a couple of very minor, barely noticeable creases around the edges.  Overall this is a superb cover and is without doubt one of the best I have ever seen.  As can be seen the limited edition number 06712 is printed on the reverse side.

PVC plastic sleeve

This is in perfect condition and again this is such a rarity.  So often they have splits or tears but not this one.  You will not find better!

Picture sleeves

They are both in near perfect condition with no splits.  One corner on each has the smallest of creases imaginable.  There is no obvious wear whatsoever.  Wow!

Labels

The labels are immaculate with no spindle wear or markings at all.
