I am selling Greatest Hits, Greatest Hits II and Greatest Hits III on vinyl and on separate auctions and all are in stunning condition
This very rare limited edition double LP is in superb condition. This is also numbered 00125, a very low number, so is no doubt one of the very first pressings and is definitely one of the best I have seen and heard.
The vinyls look barely played and retain that glossy sheen of new vinyl. Visually they are stunning and I can only detect a couple of faint hairlines. There are a few fingerprints although I must stress that they do not have any affect on the sound quality at all. I have play tested both and I'm happy to say the audio is stunning. They play with a depth and clarity that you only get from vinyl.
Side One plays with very clear audio, I just heard one click right at the end of 'The Show Must Go On'. 'Too Much Love Will Kill You' plays with very slight slight distortion from half way through. Side Two plays if anything, even better! With a deep rich sound and no background interference.
Side Three continues in the same fashion with no skip or jumps. Some lead in static but it disappears as soon as the music starts. There is a little more crackle perhaps but it is absolutely minimal and still plays superbly well. Side Four plays equally as well with intermittent crackle but is very quiet and not obtrusive in any way.
In my opinion the audio is excellent on these vinyls. What comes across is how well the bass comes through with this pressing. As is so often the case the final tracks of each side do play with a little distortion and this is due to the grooves being pressed closer together in order to fit onto the side.
The cover has been extremely well looked after and has no wear at all bar one very minor crease by the spine. The edges and corners could not be any cleaner. The plastic sleeve that you only get with the limited edition (featuring Roger, Brian and John) does not have any splits or tears at all. Very slight rubbing on the two bottom corners but that is the only fault, almost Mint really. The inner sleeves are in perfect condition.
