Description
Here we have an original 1981 copy of Queen - Greatest Hits - an album that belongs in everyone's vinyl collection.
Packed full of their early hits including Bohemian Rhapsody, Killer Queen, We Will Rock You, Somebody To Love and many more.The matrix is A3/B1 - an early pressing.
The record has been thoroughly cleaned in our amazing Degritter and the vinyl has come up spotless and shiny with some visible scuffs, hairlines and marks which do not affect playback whatsoever. No feelable damage. The vinyl sits flat on the turntable with clean labels and spindle holes - see photos. I have graded VG+ based on appearance and sound quality.
Playback is a treat for the ears! Big, bold & punchy with plenty of bass, a wide soundscape, great detail, and Freddie's soaring vocals taking centre stage in the soundscape. Very very dynamic as with all Queen recordings.The vinyl plays through exactly as it should with no issues,no jumping or sticking. There is occasional light crackling in between tracks but nothing unusual for vinyl of this age and nothing that spoils the music.
The outer sleeve is sturdy but showing age related wear to corners, edges and spine. No splits or tape. There is a name written on the front top LH corner.
The original rounded corner printed inner sleeve is still present & doing the job, however, we have popped the record into a brand new poly lined inner sleeve to keep it pristine after cleaning - you will receive both.
A great copy to own, play and enjoy - fully cleaned and tested, ready to pop straight onto your turntable and play loud!
