Queen : Hot Space A3/B6 1st Press

This first pressing plays with stunning clarity and depth and with very little interference.  The vinyl has been so well preserved down the years as has the cover which has no obvious wear.  The lyric inner is also in great shape with hardly any wear.

Please wait for the invoice before making payment thank you.

 Visual grading

The vinyl is visually stunning and retains a strong glossy sheen.  S1 has only a few sleeve removal hairlines and there is also a couple of very small 'squiggly' faint scratches that only causes minimal interference as stated below.  S2 is absolutely stunning with only a small number of very faint hairlines and there are no scratches or marks.  There is a little spindle wear on S1 and only one faint trace on S2 and the run out grooves and labels are extremely clean.

Play grading

S1 plays with superb audio and as always I have played every second of every track so as to provide a comprehensive grading.  'Staying Power', 'Dancer' and 'Back Chat' all play with stunning precision and 'Body Language' has only a small number of very brief crackle sounds on the end section.  'Action This Day' has only a minimal amount of inner groove distortion which is a common feature on this album but still plays incredibly well with no 'background'.  The sonic quality on this side is very impressive and it is no exaggeration to say that the vast majority plays with Mint quality audio.

S2 is very similar and 'Put Out The Fire' is a prime example of how well this vinyl has been preserved down the years.  It plays with great power and has distortion or interference at all.  'Life Is Real' is nigh on perfect with only a small number of barely audible dust ticks and 'Calling All Girls' does indeed play with stunning Mint precision.  'Las Palabras De Amor' is also a stand out track as there are only a couple of dust ticks on the intro (it is very rarely this good!) and the remainder quite simply plays 'as new'.  'Cool Cat' plays with stunning clarity for a relatively quiet track with only one light tick and 'Under Pressure' ends the album with no interference and only minimal inner groove distortion.

The Cover

The cover is in lovely condition with only very minor shelf wear.  The edges are super clean with no rubbing and the spine has only a small number of tiny rub marks.  There is barely any corner wear, just one small crease lower left and the opening edge is nigh on perfect.  The front cover is so clean with no marking and the back cover is almost as good with only a couple of very faint scratch lines that you can only see when held at a certain angle anyway.  This is a very impressive example overall and it has lost none of its original strong colour.

The Lyric Inner

This has no side splits and just one minor scuff on the lyric side and a small number of faint creases around the edges.

The Labels

They are both very clean with no marking etc and only some spindle wear on S1 as stated.
