QUEEN 'Hammer to fall (The headbangers mix)' 12" single
1984 UK release EMI (12Queen4)
INCREDIBLY RARE WITHDRAWN 'LIVE' SLEEVE!!!!
This was the fourth Queen single to come off the hugely successful 'The Works' album, and charted in the UK in September 1984, eventually peaking at #13. The initial batch of 12" singles were released with a stunning colour live action shot of the band onstage, with particular emphasis on the amazing lighting rig. For some reason this sleeve was quickly WITHDRAWN and replaced with a rather plain, and infinitely less sought after, red sleeve with no photograph at all. Maybe Roger objected to the original as he was the only band member not visible!

CONDITION: VINYL EXCELLENT+ some slight signs of having been played LABELS EXCELLENT+ a few spindle marks on side 2 SLEEVE EXCELLENT++ very slight ringwear visible, a minor white mark along the bottom edge, a minor 2cm fold on the bottom of the back left foldover flap (I'm trying to find fault here) A HIGHLY COLLECTABLE QUEEN RARITY IN SUPERB CONDITION!
