Description
Queen : Innuendo 12'' Picture Disc (Explosive Version) 1991
This picture disc was pressed on heavyweight vinyl and is superb condition with just one tiny mark on S2 next to the Q (has no affect on the audio) and a couple of very faint hairlines. It is visually stunning and still has an immaculate glossy sheen. It has clearly hardly ever been played if at all.
Most collectors believe that picture discs should be enjoyed for their visual aesthetic quality rather than for their audio quality and it is well known that they do not play as well as standard vinyl. However, I have played both sides and the audio is very impressive. 'Innuendo' on S1 has only minimal static and a couple of light ticks on the intro and then plays with stunning quality for the remainder even during the quieter Spanish section which has only 3/4 light ticks. 'Under Pressure' on S2 plays with superb clarity and no interference and 'Bijou' also plays to a very high standard with only a hint of mega light static in a couple of sections and one light click towards the end.
The pvc sleeve (with red lettering) is in excellent condition with only minimal wear and for once it does not have any large side splits. It does have a pinhole mark top right and a less obvious one top left and just one small and barely noticeable split on the bottom edge. The insert is very clean with a small number of faint 'spots' top left of the credit/picture side and 3/4 on the blank side.
