This is the rare complete UK 1st Press of 'Jazz' by Queen. The record is complete with the very earliest 1U/1U matrix, the record is housed in the original die-cut laminated inner sleeve and the embossed Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold, fold-out poster sleeve. This album is in Near Mint condition. It is 100% completely original. The owner always bought two copies of albums, he would listen once or twice, if he liked it he would buy another copy and put one away to keep.
The record is in Near Mint condition. The vinyl is absolutely sensational, every track gleams like new. You can twist and turn this album under every light and you will see just a couple of the very slightest baglines, but this is insiginificant it is in the most wonderful condition. The label is also sensational. The black is solid, the pink and white are crisp and bright and there only the slightest spindle wear. We very carefully played this album and we are pleased to say it sounds as good as it looks. Sensational. Queen albums are notoriously noisy, even the finest looking presses can be full of clicks but this is without doubt the finest we have ever heard. This is as close to perfect as you will ever get, exceptional audio seperation. On our turntable it is crystal clear, vibrant and silent in virtually all of the quietest moments. Absolutely stunning.
The original die-cut printed inner sleeve is in Near Mint condition. The incredible condition of this inner sleeve is also evidence of the fact that this album has been stored away. Very solid with just the very slightest ring wear. The edges are extremely firm with NO splits and the picture is superb, completely unworn.
The Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve is in Excellent condition. The image is still extremely sharp and the edges are firm. The black is bold with just light wear mainly at the edges and the pink embossed text is still vivid. The inside is superb. The poster is still completely intact and folds out perfectly. The images and text are entirely unworn. The spine is firm, the text is sharp and the whole sleeve still feels solid.
