Live At Wembley '86 (Original Double Vinyl LP)

This very early UK pressing from 1992 has hardly been played and the audio quality does not disappoint.  It is rare to find this double LP playing with such stunning quality.

Visual grading

S1 has a couple of faint fingerprint type marks but aside from that is supremely clean.  The other three sides are visually stunning and have only 4/5 mega faint hairlines that you can only see under a strong bright light.  They look practically as new.  It is obvious they have been hardly played as there is no spindle wear visible.  For a 25 year old album the vinyls are in fantastic condition.

Play grading

S1 has wonderful sonic quality and barely any 'background'.  There are just 2/3 light clicks during 'In The Lap Of The Gods' but the other tracks play with marvelous quality and you can see why this LP is so highly sought after.  It has to be one of the best 'live' albums around.  The depth on the recording is vast and plays superbly well.

S2 equals this quality and even the quiet intro on 'Who Wants To Live Forever' is nigh on perfect with almost no 'background' again.  The remainder plays with real power and no distortion on the louder tracks such as 'Brighton Rock' and 'Now I'm Here'.

'Love Of My Life' on S3 plays with great quality and only a couple of 'dust ticks' which is rare for such a quiet opening track.  A stunning version and 'Is This The World We Created...?' plays to same standard.  'Bohemian Rhapsody' has Mint quality audio, no other grading for it.  This side again has no crackle, loud clicks or pops and plays superbly well.

The audio on S4 plays with immense power and clarity and again demonstrates what a high quality LP this is.  'Radio Ga Ga' is a stunning highlight and grades as Mint without doubt.  This goes for the rest of the side but I will add a minus to err on the side of caution!  The audio on this side plays practically as new, the quality is breathtaking.

Gatefold cover

This gatefold is in excellent condition but does have a little shelf wear mainly on the back cover.  There are a small number of rub marks on the edges and spine but they are still better than so many you see.  There are also a number of small creases around the edges and a few faint scratch type marks on the front cover.  The inside of the gatefold is in superb condition and the back cover is also extremely clean as are the opening edges.  So often this gatefold is found in very poor condition and whilst this one is by no means perfect it is I believe one of the better ones you will find.

Picture sleeves

The glossy thicker paper inners (the first pressing had very thin paper inners) are in wonderful condition with no splits or tears and no marking.  Just a very small amount of faint creasing, two of the best I have ever seen.

The labels

There is no spindle wear to be seen and no writing on any of the labels.  Only S1 has a few very small faint marks.  The others are in superb shape.
