Queen : Made In Heaven A2/B2 1st Press Cream Vinyl Limited Edition (Complete)
This original Limited Edition album from 1995 is in fantastic condition and has only been played two, three times at most I would say judging by the audio and the visual quality. I have play tested it in full and the clarity, depth and warmth of the audio on both sides is stunning and there is barely any 'background'. A little static on the intro of the opening track but when isn't that the case!
Pressed on cream vinyl the surface is stunning and has no marks or scratches. The gatefold is in superb condition as are the three posters and they look hardly touched. The lyric inner (no 'Heaven For Everyone' lyrics as per the first pressings) is also near perfect.
This is of course a very collectable album today but I will not put an extortionate 'buy it now' price on it. I do think some of the prices you see on eBay/Discogs are way off the mark and I will just let the market take its course.
I am also selling the rarer black vinyl edition of this 1995 album which you do not often see today. An even more Limited Edition you could say!

Visual grading
The vinyl is in superb condition and has no marks or scratches. I could only find a couple of very small faint hairlines on each side and it still has a stunning glossy visual quality and looks 'as new' truth be told. There are only a couple of small faint spindle traces on each label and it is obvious this vinyl has hardly been played. As you would expect the run out grooves are very clean and the actual labels have no marking or writing.
Play gradingThe quiet intro on 'It's a Beautiful Day' often plays with a fair amount of crackle but I am pleased to say there is only a little static here. It has largely disappeared by the time the vocal begins and from that point on it plays nigh on perfectly with barely any 'background'. I would grade the intro as Ex but the rest is Near Mint for sure.
'Made In Heaven' has one tick on the intro and then plays with stunning precision for the remainder. 'As new' is a fair assessment as the clarity could not be any more impressive. Near Mint
'Let Me Live' is of the same 'high end' standard and plays with stunning clarity and definition from start to finish. I detected a couple of minor ticks but the sonic quality here is phenomenal and you can turn it up to max without fear of distortion. Overall I would say Mint- is deserved.
The intro on 'Mother Love' is flawless and it continues to play with outstanding clarity. There is no interference and this emotive track again grades as Mint- such is the quality on offer here. Even the baby 'plays' without fault!
The final track 'My Life Has Been Saved' ends the side with imperious quality once more. On these first pressings this track often plays with some inner groove distortion but that is certainly not the case here. From beginning to end it plays perfectly with no intrusion and Mint- is again deserved.

'I Was Born To Love You' has barely any static on the intro and from then on plays with no ticks, no clicks, no pops and no no static or crackle either. The audio is so strong and powerful and Mint- is again an honest appraisal of the audio.
For once the intro on 'Heaven For Everyone' is so 'clean' with only a couple of barely dust ticks and it continues to play with a clarity that defies its 25 years! This record has clearly hardly ever been played and that is reflected in the quality we have on offer here. Mint-
There is no hiding place for the classic 'Too Much Love Will Kill You' being such a quiet track and yet the clarity is stunning throughout. All I heard were a handful of light dust ticks but this does not qualify as interference of course! You will find them on records pressed yesterday let alone one from 1995! This is a fantastic Mint- version and is without doubt one of finest examples I have ever listened to.
'You Don't Fool Me' has barely any static and just one light tick on the intro and then plays with that familiar deep audio right to the end and with no intrusion. The intro is Near Mint- but the remainder is Mint I am confident in saying.
'A Winter's Tale' plays beautifully with a clarity that is just astonishing! There is literally no intrusion on the audio and it could not play with any greater precision. Who needs a minus as this is quite simply Mint in every way!
The reprise of 'It's A Beautiful Day' plays with great clarity from the word go with barely any static on the intro. A little further in I detected a couple of mega light ticks but they are so quiet you could easily miss them. As the volume picks up the playback could not be any stronger and to the end it plays with superb power and depth. A Mint- finish to this classic album.
In summary this first pressing plays to a wonderful standard with barely any 'background'. The clarity throughout is stunning and even the quieter tracks play with sublime quality. A stunning album for sure!
The Gatefold, Posters & Lyric Inner
This iconic cover is in lovely condition with only very minimal shelf wear. The edges are in perfect condition and the wide spine is also near perfect with just one tiny crease mark and a minor touch of wear on the corners - very minor! The right hand corners are extremely clean and the opening edge is pristine. The front cover is in fantastic shape with only a couple of small creases and the back cover is just as good with just a small number of indents that you can only see when you hold it at a certain angle. The inside of the gatefold is immaculate with no marking. A superb example overall.
The three posters are in great condition with no rips or tears and have only a small number of 'spots' on the reverse side The lyric inner has no side splits and just a couple of small faint marks on S2.
Play tested on my Pro-Ject Essential III Turntable / B&W 684 Speakers
