This is the rare 1st press of ‘Queen II’ by Queen. It is complete with the very earliest YAX 4735 (corrected) 4U / YAX 4736 (corrected) 4U matrix. The vinyl is complete with the original company inner sleeve and laminated Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve.

The vinyl is in Very Good+ condition. It has a sensational gloss, there is no whitening or signs of heavy play at all. There are just a few of the lightest hairlines. The label is completely clean. The colour is solid and unworn, the text is sharp and there is only the very slightest spindle wear. The original inner sleeve is in Near Mint condition.

The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and from the moment it begins it sounds exceptionally rich and vibrant. Queen albums can be noisy, there are moments of light noise but the sound is still clear and extremely bright.

The Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve is in Excellent condition. This sleeve is sensational. The black is bold, the image is sharp and the laminate has a sensational mirrored gloss. There is tiny corner wear and the very lightest ring wear but this does to spoil this superb sleeve. The inside is perfect, crisp and the bright and the spine is very firm with clear text.
