On offer here is The Complete Works released in 1985. This is quite simply one of the best editions of this box set I have seen, perhaps the best.
The vinyls are in superb condition. Under a bright light I can only detect a few very faint hairlines on 2/3 of the LPs and that I am sure is only where they have been removed from the sleeves. It is very rare you find a numbered box set (008529) in this condition. I am happy to grade the vinyls as Near Mint, most Mint - stunning!
All sleeves (with embossed Queen crest) are in Near Mint condition - not one single tear/split at all.
It also contains the three inserts all in Near Mint condition. The first contains the album artwork and a UK single discography and the second is a world map which shows where Queen have appeared in concert and where they have charted. The third has a tour itinerary 1971-1985, a list of equipment they used and food and drink requirements!
The box I would grade as Ex++ - it would be Near Mint but for a few minor scuff marks.
Overall this box set is in fantastic condition considering it is now 28 years old. A highly collectable item and as usual with my auctions a low starting price.
