QUEEN THE COMPLETE WORKS VINYL BOX SET *PLEASE READ FULL DESCRITION*.
Where do I start????....this is an extraordinary listing I apologise in advance ha ha. Potentially you are bidding to win this extremely rare and valuable remastered 14 album Queen Vinyl Box set for 0.99p?....yup.
So....I owned a vinyl/collectable record shop and this came my way....Obviously my heart skipped a beat as I am a huge Queen fan. However.....This has had some kind of inexplicable life?.....THE VINYL itself is all present and correct, clean, bright and shiny....cracking condition in fact. I can only see one potential mark on Track 5 of 'Hot Space' but otherwise the vinyl is cracking....so this is a real 'PLAYERS/FANS' boxed set because....I cant even explain really, The box is fine (non numbered edition), 9 of the vinyl white embossed card sleeves are also absolutely fine (x9 of the 14)....But???? The rest of the embossed card white sleeves and ALL the accompanying paperwork, pamphlets, book, etc have been......well......origami'd at some point for some absolutely unknown reason? ha ha....PLEASE ZOOM PICS AND SEE WHAT IM TALK|ING ABOUT....Either someone let their insane lunatic kid use the card sleeves and booklets as an origami school project....or someone tried to fold everything to fit in a cd sized envelope to mail home? I honestly after all these years have never worked out what the hell and why?
The good news is....the vinyl itself (plus 9 of the sleeves) is in cracking condition...and all was professionally cleaned on my Okki Nokki Mk2 cleaning machine.
All plays great, although I have just spotted a potential mark on track 5 of Hot Space but have no turntable left to test on.
So, the collectors need look away, the queen fans who want to hear all the back catalogue remastered in clean vinyl....this is for you!
Personally I would replace the damaged white card sleeves with new white card sleeves and live with it.....or, if someone can make 1 good set out of 2 bad sets and replace booklets etc...thats down to you.
Still a worthy addition to a queen fans playing vinyl ...
Everything is included whether mint or now folded into a swan?....Oh the large map survived with only its original folds!
Bidding to buy, CRAZY 99p start price with NO RESERVE so bidding to buy and of course absolutely NO RETURNS or refunds as ive layed it all out literally on the table and in this description!.
If anyone spots this and knows who or why they ended up like this....please let us all know ha ha....mental.
