Description
Queen : The Game A6 / B2
This very early pressing plays with wonderful clarity and depth and very little 'background'.
The silver 'foil' cover is also in excellent condition with only minimal wear and is one of the 'cleanest' you will find. The lyric inner is 'as new'.

Play grading
S1 plays with stunning quality and the only obvious 'background' is a light hiss on the 'Play The Game' intro which last for only 3/4 seconds. The remainder of the side is nigh on perfect with only a couple of very light static sounds on the 'Another One Bites The Dust' intro. There are no clicks or pops and the clarity is so impressive throughout.
'Rock It' on S2 often has a lot of static/crackle on the intro but this one has only a very minor hiss which is non-intrusive in my opinion. It is very light! The rest of the track plays with perfect Mint quality and that applies to the other tracks also. 'Don't Try Suicide' is a particular highlight and plays with remarkable precision from the first note to the last which is a rarity for this track as it has so many quiet sections. 'Sail Away Sweet Sister' has one light tick on the intro but otherwise plays with stunning audio. 'Coming Soon' and 'Save Me' play beautifully with no intrusion, not even a single dust tick!
Visual grading
The vinyl is visually stunning and retains a stunning glossy sheen. There are no marks or scratches and only a small number of very faint sleeve removal hairlines. I cannot detect any spindle wear and I would think this record has only been lightly played judging by this and the superb audio quality.
The Cover
The silver 'foil' cover is notorious for being found in poor condition but this one has stood the test of time extremely well. The edges are close to perfect with barely any rubbing and the thin pinched spine is super clean with no wear at all and that also applies to the opening edge. The corners are in superb shape with no real wear and the front cover is very clean with only light ringwear and a few small creases around the edges. The back cover is also in excellent condition with only minor ringwear and a small number of faint scratch lines. A very strong Ex cover which is certainly better than the vast majority you see today.
The Picture Inner
The thick card inner with the rounded corners (as per all the first and early pressings) is in fantastic condition with no wear of any kind.
The Labels
They are in superb order with no marking or writing and no spindle wear either.
