The Miracle A1/B2

This genuine first pressing is in immaculate condition, I have never heard such good audio.  It is obvious that it has only been played a handful of times, perhaps only the once, judging by the lack of spindle wear and dynamic quality of the audio.  So rarely found in this condition today.

Visual grading

This vinyl has been hardly played as there is only one tiny spindle line on each side.  The quality of the audio as detailed below confirms that.  There are a few very faint hairlines, slightly more on S2, but I can honestly say they have no affect on the stunning audio at all.  It is still visually in fantastic condition and has that glossy lustre of new vinyl.

Play grading  

'Party' and 'Khashoggi's Ship' quite simply play as Mint, the quality is of the highest standard possible.  'The Miracle' plays with the same outstanding quality and thus far I have not heard any static etc whatsoever.  I heard a couple of dust ticks at the beginning of 'I Want It All' with the rest of this classic track playing with dynamic power and depth.  Even on the top end the clarity did not suffer and I was playing it loud.  A superb rendition.  'The Invisible Man' ends the side with immaculate audio once more.  I don't believe in grading a vinyl as Mint if it isn't sealed but this audio deserves that accolade.  There is no static, crackle, pops or jumps, the quality is sublime.

There is very light static on the 'Breakthru' intro and thereafter plays with perfect precision.  'Rain Must Fall' has a minimal amount of static on the first few seconds but your ears have to be very close to the speakers to hear it!  It still plays with perfect clarity.  The 'Scandal' intro has a couple of dust ticks and then plays with impeccable audio, the likes of which I have very rarely heard on a genuine first press.  The power and depth of the recording is just immense.  'My Baby Does Me' plays with a deep rich bass line and again displays stunning audio.  This version of 'Was It All Worth It' is without doubt the best I have heard.  There is no lead in static on the quiet intro and it then plays with stunning perfection and no distortion whatsoever which is a rarity on this loud track.  It plays with such definition and incredible power and is a fantastic end to this LP, wow!

This is a genuine final upgrade, archive copy for certain.  There is barely any static and no clicks or pops anywhere to be heard.  The warmth and richness of the audio is second to none and this is without doubt the best A1/B2 first pressings I have ever heard.  An absolute classic.

Cover

The iconic cover has been very well maintained with only a small amount of shelf wear.  The edges and spine have hardly any rubbing and it is only the two top corners that have a small amount of creasing/wear.  The front cover has a couple of tiny marks very near the bottom edge but overall the front and back cover remain extremely clean, the latter looks as new.  The opening edge has no handling wear at all.  Overall this is a great example of this famous cover and is one of the cleanest I have seen in a long while.

Lyric inner  

The lyric inner is in perfect condition and is like new.  Mint - no other description for it!

The labels

They are in excellent condition with only a little wear around the spindle hole which I am sure was caused during the manufacture.
