This very first pressing is in superb condition.  There is hardly any spindle wear and from my play testing it is obvious it has been rarely played, perhaps twice at most.  So rarely found in this condition today.

Visual grading

Under a strong bright light this vinyl is stunning.  I cannot detect any hairlines etc and what with the lack of spindle wear I suspect it has hardly ever been removed from the sleeve.  It has an amazing glossy sheen and looks as new.  The audio more than matches the visual quality also.

Play grading  

'Party' on Side One plays with wonderful clarity and power and the bass comes through superbly.  The audio throughout is of an exceptional standard and rarely do you hear such quality on a genuine first pressing.  'The Miracle' and 'I Want It All' have audio that cannot be improved upon, it is just stunning.  The same can be said for all the tracks on this side.  I don't believe in grading a vinyl as Mint if it isn't sealed but this audio deserves that accolade.  There is no static, crackle, pops or jumps, the quality is sublime.  The clarity and precision of the sound is remarkable and it does sound like new.  There is complete silence between the tracks and as stated the bass really comes through so clearly on this first pressing.  Fantastic!

There is light static and one click on the 'Breakthru' intro but thereafter plays with near perfect audio, just the odd dust tick sound here and there.  'Rain Must Fall' has incredible audio and whilst the intro to the classic 'Scandal' has a little static the remainder of the track plays as new with a depth and richness you just don't get with CDs.  The final two tracks again do not disappoint and 'Was It All Worth It' is a real highlight and plays practically as new with no distortion which is rare for this loud track.  It really blows the speakers and is a fantastic end to this LP, wow!

This is a genuine final upgrade, archive copy for certain.  There is a little static on a couple of intros but for a vinyl nearing 30 years old the lack of background noise is breathtaking.  The warmth and richness of the audio is second to none and this is without doubt one of the best A1/B2 first pressings I have ever heard.  An absolute classic.

Cover

The iconic cover has been very well maintained with only a small amount of shelf wear.  The edges and spine have no rubbing and the corners have minimal creasing/wear.  There are 3/4 tiny marks above 'Queen' on the front cover and the back cover remains perfectly clean.  The opening edge has no handling wear at all.  Overall this is a great example of this famous cover and is one of the cleanest I have seen in a long while.

Lyric inner  

The lyric inner is just a shade off Mint.  The thumb notch has a couple of tiny creases that are barely visible!

The labels

They are immaculate with only one spindle line on each.  No marking or writing whatsoever.
