This genuine first pressing plays with wonderful precision and quality and rarely have I heard better.  Perhaps only played once or twice judging the lack of spindle wear.

Visual grading

This vinyl has been hardly played as it is extremely difficult to detect any spindle wear and I would say there is just one wispy line on each label.  There are a small number of faint hairlines on each side and a couple of small scratch type marks on S1 but they have no affect the stunning audio at all.  For a 28 year old vinyl it has maintained extremely well and still has a lovely glossy look to it.

Play grading  

With barely any lead in static 'Party' and then 'Khashoggi's Ship' quite simply play as Mint, the quality is of the highest standard possible.  As is always the case on a well preserved 'Miracle' album the bass comes through so strongly and sounds superb.  'The Miracle' has the same outstanding quality and basically plays like new, something that can rarely be said for a record nearing 30 years of age.  There are just couple of light clicks literally at the end of the fade out.  'I Want It All' plays equally as well and easily grades as Mint such is the stunning quality on offer.  Even on the top end the clarity did not suffer and I was playing it loud, no distortion whatsoever.  'The Invisible Man' ends the side with immaculate audio and once again the depth of the bass and clarity of the sound deserve a special mention.  The quality is sublime through Side One.

There is a minimal amount of mega light static on the 'Breakthru' intro but then the track then plays to near perfection with no interference whatsoever, a stunning version.  'Rain Must Fall' more than matches this standard and plays 'as new' accept for one very light click, more of a dust tick really.  The quiet 'Scandal' intro plays beautifully with no obvious 'background' and then the remainder plays with wonderful clarity and depth.  I rarely grade as Mint on an unsealed LP but it deserves that accolade and to be honest I don't think I've heard a better 'Scandal' on an A1/B2 first press.  'My Baby Does Me' plays with a deep rich bass line and again grades as Mint, the sound quality is immaculate and there is no 'background' to be heard.  The intro to 'Was It All Worth It' is just stunning and plays with absolute perfection as does the rest of this classic track.  There is no distortion which is a rarity on this loud track and there is only a minimal amount of static right at the end.  It plays with such definition and incredible power and is definitely one of the best versions I have ever heard.

This is a genuine final upgrade, archive copy for certain.  There is barely any static and no loud clicks or pops anywhere to be heard.  The warmth and richness of the audio is second to none and this is without doubt one of the best first pressings I have ever heard.  An absolute classic.

Cover

The iconic cover is in excellent condition with only a minimal amount of shelf wear and as can be seen has a record store sticker still attached.  The edges and spine are very clean with hardly any rubbing and only the corners have what I would call obvious wear although not major.  The top right corner also has a little creasing.  The opening edge has no handling wear at all.  The front and back cover are exceptionally clean and have no markings.  Overall this is an excellent example of this famous cover and whilst not perfect it is cleaner than many you find today.

The lyric inner is in near perfect condition with only a couple of smallest creases imaginable!

They are in great condition with no marking or writing and as stated barely any spindle wear.
