Queen : The Show Must Go On 12" Etched Disc

This highly collectable 12'' single plays to a very impressive standard and of course has the etched signatures of Queen on the B side.

'The Show Must Go On' has only minimal static on the intro and is very much in the background and non-intrusive.  It soon disappears and then plays with wonderful depth and clarity.  The first chorus is 'as new' and it continues in the same way.  A record that is heavily played can still play with excellent clarity but one that has been hardly played has an even greater clarity, there is more 'sound' if you like.  The audio here is 100% breathtaking!  Yes there is a little static on the '...Go On' end section but I have never heard the actual track play any better, the definition of every note is so 'clean' and any collector would be hugely impressed by the audio here.  'Keep Yourself Alive' has barely any static on the intro and then plays to a sublime standard.  It is a stunning listen and grades as Mint- for sure.  The 'Queen Talks' section so often has a fair amount of crackle but that is not the case here and the 'playback' is superb with only a minimal amount of mega light static every now and then.

The playing surface on S1 does have some hairlines but they have no affect on the audio.  The etched 'signatures' on S2 stand proud and the surface is very clean indeed with only a few faint hairline marks.

The die-cut gatefold is in lovely condition with very little shelf wear, it is so clean.  The edges are in superb order with hardly any rubbing and only the lower right corner has one mega small crease mark.  The other corners and the wide spine are in great condition and only the first opening edge has a mild hint of handling wear.  The front cover has no marking and remains perfectly 'white' and all you can see is the usual imprint of the die-cutting itself and one faint scratch line.  The back cover is also supremely clean with only a small number of mega faint scratch lines, you always have them.  The inside of the gatefold is unmarked and is in pristine condition.  Overall this is a fine example of this gatefold and has none of the foxing that you so often see.
