Description
Beautiful sheen, very lightly played. most of the disc on both sides is absolutely pristine but there are several very light scratches & handling scuffs most of which are inaudible and the record plays through without sticking or jumping in any place. It is a very 1st day pressing Blair's cut and sounds absolutely stunning with minimal surface noise. The record grades around VG+due to it's sound and around VG for cosmetics.
The uncreased gatefold sleeve is also about VG++ it has slight handling marks and to the left side a very slight mottling, almost unavoidable on a white unlaminated cover.
The Opera booklet or Programme is in excellent condition, quite pristine both inside and out. It looks unthumbed and is a beautiful collector's item on it's own with beautiful plates of Freddie and the band.
The picture inner sleeve is present also with no splits or creases, perhaps Ex+
Records are hard to grade and I suppose the best way is to listen, which I do on my Rega I turntable and this records Queen ~ A Night at the Opera plays beautifully with low surface noise throughout both sides.
