Description

Made in Heaven is the fifteenth studio album by British band Queen. Made in Heaven supposed to be the last work published together with its vocalist Freddie Mercury and its bassist John Deacon, who retired from the band two years after the publication of this album. It was released on November 6, 1995. After Mercury's death in November 1991, John Deacon, Roger Taylor and Brian May worked with the piano and vocal parts that Mercury had recorded before his death, along with new lyrics recorded by the remaining band members. Both stages of recording, before and after Mercury's death, were completed at the band's studio in Montreux, Switzerland. The album debuted at #1 in the UK and went four times platinum. The Guardian newspaper stated that the album sold 20 million copies worldwide. A deluxe edition of this album was issued in 2023 featuring a Gatefold Edition a 180 Gram Vinyl, Triple Poster Edition and a unique Booklet with a fantastic photos and containing the history behind the album (booklet is in Spanish).
