Here for offer we have what I believe to be a European 2nd pressing of the sophomore album by Queens Of The Stone Age, “Rated R (X Rated)”, originally released in 2000 on Interscope Records. This may possibly be a first pressing, but it has some slight differences to what discogs lists as the first pressing, so I’m erring on the side of caution and calling this a second pressing.
The gatefold jacket is in VG+ condition due to some wear on top of back cover, wear on lower corner of the spine, some wrinkling and general wear, but still looks great despite all of that, no splits or tears and with vibrant colors and legible text. Also has the original hype sticker with the rounded corners affixed to the front. Back cover also has “Don’t make me beg, just f*** me” in small print. Inner gatefold looks great, as does the original insert sheet. The vinyl is in strong VG+ condition due to some sleeve scuffs on side 1 (see pic) which don’t affect play. The vinyl is clean and glossy, plays with no issues and sounds incredible, very punchy mastering on this version.
Here’s an opportunity to own a great early (possibly original) pressing of this classic album at a great price.
