Description

Up for auction is the DCC audiophile label 180 gram LP release of Queen's classic A NIGHT AT THE OPERA album, mastered by Steve Hoffman and Kevin Gray.  This is a low numbered copy - #0462. If you're looking at this listing, you likely know it's reputation for sound quality.  It's a very fine record that - as great as it is -  I'm selling because I don't need a $200+ copy of an album I've rarely been inclined to play, and could use the money elsewhere.  If you're a hardcore fan though, I'm sure it will hold a place of honor in your collection.
I purchased this new and sealed.  If I've played it more than half a dozen times, it's absolutely not by much, and hasn't been played even a dozen times for certain.  Like all my records, it has always been treated with care and respect.  I've only ever played it on my Rega.  Except for a small dent in the cover at one corner - which is how it was upon purchase - this is at least mint 9/10 condition throughout.  As this album was issued at the end of the line for DCC, this (and I believe some other late releases) originally came with a paper/poly inner sleeve, and not rice paper.  This is as it was originally.  See grading standards below (grades 9-10 used with good reason).
Shipping is via your choice of USPS Media Mail or Priority Mail.
This is a 3 day listing.  Please see my other items for sale or auction.  Message with any questions, including shipping quotes, etc.  I sell worldwide.
Thank you for your interest.  Good luck.

Mint 9 – Vinyl has no meaningful imperfections.  Vinyl luster is full.
Near Mint 8 – Vinyl has a few minor imperfections and should play without noticeable surface noise.  Vinyl luster is nearly full.
Excellent 7 – Vinyl has a few noticeable imperfections.  Vinyl still displays some
luster.  Record may play with some slight surface noise, but nothing very distracting.
Very Good 6 – Vinyl has more noticeable, but not major, imperfections.  May display some original luster.  Record may play with some more surface noise than a grade 7, but will not overwhelm the sound.
