Description
Beautiful original MFSL copy of Queen's "A NIght at the Opera" from the early 80's. I'm the original owner of this beauty. Near mint all around, it has been on my turntable three times, played on a Technics SL 1600 MK II turntable with a Shure M97 HE cartridge, mostly to play the popular songs, LOUD. So this record has been out of the sleeve only five times, the fourth time to visually inspect it last week, then the fifth time to photograph it for this auction. It has been stored upright in my private record collection since it was brand new, in the temperature controlled, non-smoking homes my wife and I have owned over the years. Specially plated and pressed on High Definition Super Vinyl by Victor Company of Japan, LTD. Vinyl so pure you can hold it up to the light and see through it. That is a pretty cool thing about these Mobile fidelity pressings from the 80's. The other is the Awesome Sound! This really sounds incredible. The half-speed mastering brings out definition you just don't get in commercial pressings. It's in the original baggie with a Sam Goody price tag.The original inserts are here in great shape and look almost un-touched. This album is in near new condition,no cut-outs or seam splits, no rips or scuffs and scratches. Other than a hard to see faint spindle mark, the record looks close to perfect, and appears unplayed. Very little use of this gem! A very high quality classic MOFI issue!! Please check out the pictures, this is the item you will receive. I photograph each item I sell from all angles before they leave here to guarantee their pre-delivered condition. You can be sure what you see is what you get! I cover the insurance through the Post Office on anything I sell over $50, so insurance on this is free. Free shipping on this item by USPS Media Mail to the United States only. NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING. I ship Monday through Thursday only. Thanks for checking out my auctions!
