DESCRIPTION: Queen- A Night At The Opera LP. 1st UK press with -2/-3 matrix ("BLAIRS") , thick embossed gate-fold sleeve and thick card printed inner with 3 cut corners. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double.

CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX/EX. Vinyl is really clean with a nice dark sheen. Looks lightly played and well looked after. It has only 1-2 spindle lines on labels and still has some of the black plastic around the spindle hole from pressing. Tilted to light it has a very light graze on side one which has no audio consequence. Played all of this tonight on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on turntable, Plays clear, vibrant, loud and clean. "Love Of My Life" and "Bohemian Rhapsody" both play really clean. Thick card enbossed cover is in very clean condition, much better than is usually seen. It has only light edgewear, light cornerwear and negligible creasing. Very clean inside to gatefold- no foxing anywhere on the sleeve. Printed inner has only light wear, no splits and 1"moderate wear to centre of bottom edge. Really clean labels. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Check out the photos.
GRADING SYSTEM: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades.

I have hundreds of rarities in fantastic condition from many genres including blues, punk, metal, britpop, progressive, kraut, classic and hard rock.
