Are you a QUEEN super fan - and slightly obsessed on the audio side..? This might be worth checking out..for audio....utterly unbeatable.
An original 1st issue of OPERA on the UK EMI label from the charting period. Matrix 3/5. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original embossed gatefold cover.  Also included is the original G&L inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In SUPER nice condition and has only seen lightest use. Excellent lustre. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slightest marks per side - nothing heavy or troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are beautifully quiet and the audio comes across with super clarity. A very clean player throughout. Perhaps the best copy for audio -- absolutely stounding. Even into those quieter moments - super quiet. With Queen it's all to do with the bravado and technicolour audio - as they try to push the boundaries of what you could do in the studio. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE AUDIO...so if you can find a really clean copy...it will sound nothing short of astounding on a top class system. Freddie's multi-tracked vocals early Side 2. And Love Of My Love...ultra fussy - but fully clean here! Intro to RHAP is a difficult find...[popular]....fully clean it sounds very intricate...somewhat amazing. Percussion in RHAP and cymbal strikes [transients] are PERFECTY resolved - this tends to suggest very low mileage as they are the first to go. You will get to witness Queen at the height of their powers - unhindered by any background.  Highly recommended in every way!
Cover (Ex-) Amazing flat and clean. Almost impossible to find perfectly clean - but this is about as good as you can usually go. It is close on fully white but just very faintest evidence of ageing in one or two spots - like along the spine edge. No edge wear and nice firm sharp openings. The spine is 98% intact - but aged a little. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. Very nice indeed - not quite perfect ...but not far off.
Inner (Ex) Has avoided much of the usual ageing process. No splits.
